Itse Daibo is a Nigerian short story writer, poet and illustrator. She was born in Nigeria and raised in Cameroon and the United Kingdom. She specialises in African historical fiction and folklore. Her Golden Calabash series is a collection of African fairytales and folklore for children, which she was inspired to write to preserve oral African folktales.
